- Introduction
We know that our Ear Training Method is very effective, but we also want the rest of the world to know how effective it is. To promote our products, we came up with this program. Here is how it works. We give you a permission to copy the number of books and accompanying software you need for your ear training program for free. In return, we want your feedback. We do not set any rules as to how you should give us your feedback. As long as it is done reasonably with your standard, we accept it. We will stop accepting the entry into the program once it reaches the predetermined number. We hope you take advantage of this program. Having said that, we will cover the details in the following sections. - Available Materials from the Program
1. A book titiled “A Totally New Approach to Ear Training based on the 12 Note Solfege”
2. Software called “EarMagic STANDARD Edition”
3. Software called “VirtuosoEar BASIC Edition”
Please note that this software does require a technical competency in MIDI setup.
4. New versions of Software can be added to the list.
5. Whitepaper titled “Ear Training for Musicians. This material is always available free from our website. - Targetted Audience (School/Choir)
We do not set any particular rules as to who qualify. It does not matter whether you run a public school or a private class. There is no minimum number. We do set the maximum to 25. The maximum is set so that each student can be tracked reasonably well. If you have a convincing reason, then you should apply. The number of seats represents the number of feedbacks or reports we are expecting from you. You can easily add or substract the number throught e-mail correspondance.
- What is expected from you
We accept your feedback in any format. We do have some preference if we may. If you can provide us how our products help your studnets in a quantitative fashion, it is most appreciated. If you run two similar classes, one with our materials, the other with your current materials, you can compare them side by side. In this case, one group is called a control group. This is an ideal scenario, but this is not a requirement. Please remember that it is your benefit to track each student progress. So, do not try to do it for us, but for you. By the way, we do not publish the name of your school without your consent. Without it, we will only say “A school in Arizona” or initials of your names.
- Duration
Typically a year, but it can be changed for good reasons.
- How to apply
You can send us your application in e-mail to info@pianistica.com. The subject line should be “A School/Choir Pilot Program”. Please include your name, title, the name of your school, address, phone number and the number of students you are planning to apply our materials. That is all. Of course, we appreciate any addition to the above. We will send you a package in zip format usually within a week. If you have any question regarding the program, you can send us your e-mails to the same address.
